Common knowledge amoung some professionals (MD and ND):
Vitamin D: Adequate levels of vitamin D are essential for overall health. Some studies suggest a potential association between low vitamin D levels and autoimmune conditions. However, its direct impact on MG is not fully understood.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil or certain plant sources may have anti-inflammatory properties that could potentially provide general health support. While they might not directly influence MG, they might contribute to overall well-being.
Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 is important for neurological health. Adequate levels of B12 might support nerve function, but its specific impact on MG is not established.
Probiotics: While research on probiotics' specific effects on MG is limited, maintaining a healthy gut microbiome might indirectly influence overall health. Some studies suggest that probiotics might have a role in modulating the immune system and inflammation, which could potentially impact autoimmune conditions like MG. However, more research is needed in this area.
